Based in Gloucestershire I deal in historic textiles and have a textile conservation studio. My work is varied and fascinating and encompasses regular travel and research.
My interest is in fine European and near Eastern textiles, particularly embroidery which encompasses traditions dating back hundreds of years.
My specialist textile conservation studio in Stroud offers the resources and expertise to rescue and conserve historic and beautiful textiles.
I regularly work on major aesthetic period British textiles with a recent project involving the conservation of an important crewel work bed hanging by Leonora Jenner 1846-1924.
My style is a non market approach dedicated to beauty and quality with a raison d’etre of preserving our rich and varied textile history for the future.
