(And Get The Courtesy Car From Sloane Sq.)
I don’t know about anyone else but I’m certainly going to have a very good lunch next Frday at The Decorative Fair’s Deli-cum-Brasserie courtesy of Megans (of Kings Road fame).
When I say courtesy, I don’t mean that they’ll be paying for it – I shall. Goodness, no. No-one ever seems to buy me lunch any more. No, I’ve invited a long standing friend along who has a significant birthday this week and this is my chance to catch up with her, meet in town somewhere different and buy her a birthday lunch and hopefully a bottle or two.

Then she and I can wander round the fair, enjoying the fine range of antiques and textiles from classic antique furniture to 20th century design pieces. If it’s fine, we can walk the wine off outside in the park too and see the pagoda as we’ll be in the mood – bearing in mind that the theme of the lobby is pagodas and pavillions and oriental interior design inspirations.
Bon appétit
